Jan 31 2019 SUNY New Paltz Receives Development Grant from Central Hudson
Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. has awarded the Hudson Valley Advanced Manufacturing Center (HVAMC) at SUNY New Paltz a $200,000 Wired Innovation Centers grant to enhance the Center’s 3-D metal printing capabilities. The enhancements will allow HVAMC to perform high-resolution printing of wax components and direct metal printing. In addition, the investment will include post-processing equipment that will allow for the creation of high-quality, final use parts. -

April is designated as national Dig Safely Month, and Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. reminds anyone planning to dig to first submit a location request through UDig NY (formerly Dig Safely NY), or by calling 811, the toll-free Dig Safely hotline. Through the hotline, underground utility lines and equipment can be marked and properly identified prior to the start of excavation. The service is provided at no cost to the caller. -

Central Hudson Gas & Electric received the 2023 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award for Sustained Excellence from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. It is the sixth consecutive year Central Hudson has been recognized by the Energy Star Program and the second year receiving the highest honor of sustained excellence.
