Nov 6 2019 Central Hudson Presents Building Revitalization Grant to Kora Components
Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation presented Kora Components, a manufacturer of pre-fabricated trusses, with a $100,000 Building Revitalization grant in support of its $1.6 million investment to refurbish a formerly vacant 53,000 square foot building in Ellenville. The funding was presented during a ribbon cutting event at the facility on Nov. 4, 2019. -

Feb 13 2019 Central Hudson Supports Economic Development in the Mid-Hudson Valley
Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation awarded nearly $2 million in economic development grants to local firms during 2018 to benefit the local economy and create and retain high-quality jobs. Since 2004, Central Hudson has partnered with more than 50 organizations by providing more than $13.7 million in grants in support of development projects in the Mid-Hudson Valley. -

Sono-Tek Awarded Central Hudson Economic Development Grant
Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. has awarded Sono-Tek, a high-tech manufacturer located in the Mid-Hudson Valley, a $100,000 economic development grant under its Wired Innovations program. During challenging economic times, Sono-Tek has expanded their Milton (Ulster County) facility and invested in high-technology platforms that have helped create and retain 78 local high-tech jobs. -

Sept 18 2019 Central Hudson Provides $200,000 Grant to SUNY New Paltz
In support of high-tech innovation in the Mid-Hudson Valley, Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. has awarded the Hudson Valley Additive Manufacturing Center (HVAMC) at SUNY New Paltz a $200,000 Wired Innovations grant. Central Hudson first partnered with the HVAMC at SUNY New Paltz in 2014, with an economic development grant of $250,000 to help establish a center for advanced manufacturing at the College, and has been a consistent supporter of advanced manufacturing at SUNY New Paltz in the years since. -

The Expansion and Retention for Manufacturers grant program supports manufacturers who are making a new capital investment within our service territory. Examples of items constituting a new capital investment include but are not limited to the purchase of real estate, infrastructure, acquisition of machinery and equipment, and new energy efficiency upgrades. -
