1 This would be the option of interest if you are moving into a house, apartment or commercial property that already has the electric and/or natural gas service connections you require. Typically, this would be the case at locations where the home/business has been previously occupied by another owner or renter.

2 This option refers to instances where you are interested in having a new electric service line installed at a location that does NOT already have the requisite service connection, such as in the case of new-building construction, or other work performed to repair, relocate or retire (such as in the case of building demolotion) an existing service line. To simply open an account at a property with a sufficient existing connection or to close your account, refer to the "Open a new Central Hudson account" or "Close my Central Hudson account" instructions in the top two rows of this table.
