Central Hudson filed revisions to its electric and gas rate schedules to implement provisions for credits and reimbursements paid to customers affected by widespread, prolonged service outages lasting at least 72 hours and affecting at least 20,000 electric or 1,500 natural gas customers. Residential customers with service interruptions exceeding 72 hours will receive a $25 credit for each subsequent 24-hour period until service is restored. Additionally, residential and small commercial customers can apply for reimbursement of spoiled food and medicine with qualifying proof of loss.
