Central Hudson to Hold Informational Session
on Distributed System Implementation Plan

Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation will be presenting information on its 2018 Distributed System Implementation Plan (DSIP) on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at the energy company’s general offices located at 284 South Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY. The session is free and open to the public, however registration is required.  The event will also be available by Webcast to all registrants.

This information session will provide stakeholders with an overview of what is included in Central Hudson’s 2018 DSIP filing, familiarize stakeholders with the most recent updates to Central Hudson’s DSIP, and offer an opportunity to discuss the plan with utility representatives.

The DSIP is a report submitted by each New York utility to the PSC describing and analyzing its processes and data related to electric distribution system planning and grid operations, forecasted system growth, status of ongoing foundational investments, planned capital investments and potential beneficial locations for distributed energy resources (DERs).  As with the initial DSIPs filed in 2016, the updates describe the processes and tools used by the utilities, including those to assist DER developers and other stakeholders.  Utilities are to file updated DSIPs every two years, beginning in 2018, to help stakeholders develop and maintain their awareness and understanding of the utilities’ functional transition to fully integrate DERs.

Attendees may register and learn more about the session by sending an email to
