For Release: Immediately
Central Hudson Employees Team Up for Relay For Life

Employees of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation are long-time supporters of the American Cancer Society, and this year they are participating in two Relay for Life events.

A Central Hudson team attended the inaugural Poughkeepsie Relay for Life on May 19, led by employee and American Cancer Society – Hudson Valley Region board member Amanda Sucato, and will be participating at the Northern Dutchess Relay For Life on June 3 at F.D. Roosevelt High School in Staatsburg, led by employee Carrie Albertson. Central Hudson has supported Relay for Life events for more than 20 years.

“Cancer touches so many of us, directly and indirectly,” said Albertson. “These events are one way we can continue to raise critical funds and awareness for this cause.”

“It’s important to support our local community, and Relay for Life events are among the most successful fundraising efforts, providing needed resources for research and treatment,” said Sucato.
