Central Hudson Names Chris McConnachie Chief Financial Officer

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – April 16, 2026 – Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation (Central Hudson) today announced that Chris McConnachie has joined the company’s executive team as Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive regulated utility and financial leadership experience to the company.

Chris most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for National Grid’s New York businesses, where he oversaw the Finance function for the electric and gas operating companies across the state. During his tenure, he held a series of senior leadership roles across the US and UK spanning finance, treasury, shared services, and operations, supporting large‑scale capital investment and enterprise initiatives.

Prior to joining National Grid, Chris held finance and treasury roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Northern Rock Plc in the United Kingdom. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics.

As Chief Financial Officer, Chris will oversee Central Hudson’s financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, treasury, risk management, and regulatory financial support, playing a key role in supporting safe, affordable, reliable service and sustainable growth.
