POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – April 30, 2026 – Central Hudson Gas & Electric today announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Steph Raymond has been named a recipient of the 2026 Distinguished Leadership Award from the United Way of Dutchess-Orange Region at their Unity in Action celebration. The award recognizes her leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to advancing a more resilient and sustainable energy future for the Hudson Valley.

Steph, who assumed the role of President & CEO in 2024, is responsible for guiding Central Hudson’s strategic direction, overseeing operations, managing financial performance, and leading regulatory engagement. Under her leadership, the company continues to build on its 125-year legacy while accelerating efforts to deliver safe, reliable energy that powers lives and strengthens communities.
Steph is actively engaged in local community and industry organizations. She serves on the boards of the Business Council of New York State, the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies (AEIC), the American Gas Association (AGA), Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress, and FortisBC, and is a member of the Edison Electric Institute.
