Family Contribution / Information Technology: In support of the Corporate Mission;

Collaborates with associates and management in other areas of the Company, in a proactive role, to determine alternative solutions and strategies for developing, supporting and enhancing the company’s information systems and technology infrastructure.  Responsible for the design, implementation, operation and management of the Company’s telecommunications network.  Responsible for requirements analysis, system design, development, implementation and management of the Company’s business application systems.  Manages information systems performance and capacity requirements.  Determines information technology standards and specifications.  Negotiates with vendors, suppliers, system integrators and common carriers for the most competitive pricing opportunities that meet the company’s information technology standards and specifications.  Responsible for problem determination and resolution with the information systems hardware and software including but not limited to telecommunications, networks, computers, operating systems software and application systems software.  Designs, implements and manages information systems security, controls, backup and disaster recovery plans.

 

 

Individual Contribution: In support of the Corporate Mission and Family Contribution;

Participate in information systems and technology planning, software and hardware evaluation, and systems acquisition, development, integration, testing and implementation.  Develop and apply in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in the specific area of assignment – business systems and programming, data base administration, technical support and communications, or operations and Information Center support.  Develop and apply strong written and oral communications skills to convey complex concepts and issues to others.  Understand and anticipate the business needs of the Company and how these needs impact the information systems and technology infrastructure.  Maintain a high level of flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the changing technology environment, business requirements and priorities.  Strive to produce cost effective results and exceed expectations.
