Family Contribution /
Information Technology: In support of the
Corporate Mission;
Collaborates
with associates and management in other areas of the Company, in a proactive
role, to determine alternative solutions and strategies for developing,
supporting and enhancing the company’s information systems and technology
infrastructure. Responsible for the
design, implementation, operation and management of the Company’s
telecommunications network. Responsible
for requirements analysis, system design, development, implementation and
management of the Company’s business application systems. Manages information systems performance and
capacity requirements. Determines
information technology standards and specifications. Negotiates with vendors, suppliers, system integrators and common
carriers for the most competitive pricing opportunities that meet the company’s
information technology standards and specifications. Responsible for problem determination and resolution with the
information systems hardware and software including but not limited to
telecommunications, networks, computers, operating systems software and
application systems software. Designs,
implements and manages information systems security, controls, backup and
disaster recovery plans.
Individual
Contributions: In support of the
Corporate Mission and Family Contribution;
Has overall
responsibility for technical support and communications planning,
implementation and support involving operating systems software, network
design, network operating systems, telecommunications systems and EMS/SCADA
systems. Serve as senior project manager,
system integrator and technology advisor for acquisitions and installations of
new telecommunications systems. Ensure
a coherent and cohesive approach to the Company’s overall telecommunications
architecture so that systems and networks have a supportable standard across
component, vendor and facility. Serve
as the primary Company liaison to all telecommunications service
providers. Conceptualize, research, and
develop recommendations that resolve business problems, improve productivity or
reduce operating expense.
