Family Contribution / Information Technology: In support of the Corporate Mission;

Collaborates with associates and management in other areas of the Company, in a proactive role, to determine alternative solutions and strategies for developing, supporting and enhancing the company’s information systems and technology infrastructure.  Responsible for the design, implementation, operation and management of the Company’s telecommunications network.  Responsible for requirements analysis, system design, development, implementation and management of the Company’s business application systems.  Manages information systems performance and capacity requirements.  Determines information technology standards and specifications.  Negotiates with vendors, suppliers, system integrators and common carriers for the most competitive pricing opportunities that meet the company’s information technology standards and specifications.  Responsible for problem determination and resolution with the information systems hardware and software including but not limited to telecommunications, networks, computers, operating systems software and application systems software.  Designs, implements and manages information systems security, controls, backup and disaster recovery plans.

 

 

Individual Contribution: In support of the Corporate Mission and Family Contribution;

Has overall supervisory responsibility for daily operation of the Corporate Data Center and the Information Center to assure that scheduled data processing activities are performed, routine and emergency operational issues are properly addressed and resolved.  Responsible for routine network monitoring and corrective actions.  Responsible for physical security and maintenance of the Data Center raised floor equipment, server networks and security and back-up of all data.  Has overall responsibility for the Information Center and Help Desk PC hardware and software support.  Conceptualize, research, and develop recommendations that resolve business problems, improve productivity or reduce operating expense.
