Family Contribution / Business Administration: In support of the Corporate Mission; Carry out policies and programs covering several or all of the following: Purchasing, Corporate Communications, Contracting, Human Resources and other business services. Participates in, plans, and coordinates activities of designated project or area to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished. May review plans and goals to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing tasks. May establish a work plan for each project/responsibilities assigned and prioritize work steps to meet time constraints. May confer with peers or team members to outline and clarify duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to accomplish project/responsibilities. May prepare and review status reports on progress and modify as needed. May prepare project reports for management.
Individual Contribution: Plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise the work of personnel
engaged in the operation of the Company's General Storeroom including the
maintenance of proper records to assure provision of adequate inventories and
tracking of hazardous waste; assure the maintenance of adequate and economical
materials and supplies inventories within the General Storeroom and that
adequate and dependable deliveries of materials and supplies to various
districts and sub-district storerooms are maintained. Coordinate all record
keeping, transportation, storage and disposal of all hazardous waste deliveries
to and stored by the General Storeroom.
Prepare, or supervise the preparation of reports and inventories of
poles, transformers, capacitors, regulators, electric and gas meters, and all
related materials and hazardous waste items as required. Prepare, or supervise the preparation of
reports and inventories relative to the usage of materials and supplies,
recommend improvements in handling, scheduling
and maintenance of materials and
supplies used by district and sub-district storerooms. Recommend policies, practices and procedures
for ordering, delivering, and storing materials, and hazardous waste. Keep informed on trends, forecasts and
construction programs in order to provide for adequate standard stocks and
special requirements, and on hazardous waste rules and regulations in order to
assure legal compliance by the Purchasing & Stores Division.
