Family Contribution / Marketing & Sales: In support of the Corporate Mission; Responsible for the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function. Work individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives, provide pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers, and support public relations through researching, writing, and editing press releases.
Individual Contribution: In support of the Company Mission and Family Contribution; Perform duties that provide reliable, low cost electric supplies. This requires the planning, negotiation, evaluating, procuring and managing of electric supply contracts. Perform general administration of load forecasting and analysis of fundamental power market dynamics to supply short and long-term energy resources to meet native load requirements.
Possess knowledge of physical and financial energy and energy derivative products, pricing essentials and wholesale power markets utilizing a continuous analysis of pricing trends that ensures proper position hedging and risk management. Originate, structure, negotiate and schedule wholesale power term deals. Coordinate operation of generation assets to obtain maximum value. Maintain a thorough understanding of the electric utility industry and regulatory requirements of all agencies affecting power supply issues. Monitor and assess billing accuracy of short and long term transactions. Capable of working extensively with other departments within the Corporation, while developing and maintaining outside trade ally contacts, meeting federal, state and regulatory agencies requirements and participating in planning of regional market governing agencies.
