Family Contribution / Business Administration: In support of the Corporate Mission; Carry out policies and programs covering several or all of the following: Purchasing, Corporate Communications, Contracting, Human Resources and other business services. Participates in, plans, and coordinates activities of designated project or area to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished. May review plans and goals to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing tasks. May establish a work plan for each project/responsibilities assigned and prioritize work steps to meet time constraints. May confer with peers or team members to outline and clarify duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to accomplish project/responsibilities. May prepare and review status reports on progress and modify as needed. May prepare project reports for management.
Individual Contribution: In support of the Corporate Mission and Family Contribution and
with specific focus toward the development, implementation and coordination of
policies and programs covering employment, placement, orientation and training,
labor/employee relations, compensation, organization development, safety and
health, security, payroll, benefits and employee services; Manage and/or
perform the Company's employment activities to ensure that qualified candidates
are hired on a timely basis. Recruit
and interview prospective employees, refers applicants to specific job
openings, administers pre-employment tests, checks references, processes
changes in employee status. Make job
offers and conducts orientations for new employees. Utilizing appropriate technical background or knowledge,
interview applicants for technical and professional job vacancies, referring
qualified applicants to proper level of management for further interviews. Coordinate the Company's College Recruiting
Program by visiting colleges, universities, job fairs, and related functions as
part of the recruiting efforts.
Perform, monitor and review the employment process and all
employee-related transactions to ensure they comply with all Federal and State
Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action laws and regulations and
audit the results of the Company's compliance.
Provide technical support and expertise to Management in the development,
improvement and implementation of the Company's Affirmative Action plans and
employment process. Administer the
Scholarship Co-op and College Intern Programs.
