CH Energy Group to Hold
2008 Year-End Earnings Conference Call and Web Cast

(POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y) CH Energy Group, Inc. (NYSE: CHG) will hold a conference call with analysts and investors on Thursday, February 12, at 2:00 p.m. (eastern time). During this call, company management will review year-end 2008 financial results.

The call will also be webcast live in listen-only mode, and can be accessed in the Investor Relations section of CH Energy Group's website at www.CHEnergyGroup.com.

CH Energy Group, Inc. plans to publicly release the information to be reviewed immediately prior to the conference call.
